Massage has a long history of therapetic healing in Thailand. Practices for centuries,the
roots of Thai massage are traced to Indian,beginning about 2,500 years ago. The founder of the practice was said to be Jivaka
Komarabhacca,a doctor friend and contemporary of Buddha.

The art of massage must have reached China via monks,sages and travelers who journeyd to
and from india across Central Asia along the Silk Road,and then spread swiftly in the East Asian continent. ศิลปการบำบัดนี้ผ่านจากอินเดียมาตามเส้นทางสายไหม

The massage tradition probably reached Thailand through the Hindu Brahmin practioners,who
may have come here as courtiers in the royal palaces of Khmer kings. Traditional Thai Massage is a combination of indian,Chinese
and Thai methods.

The therapetical basis of Thai massage lies in the theory of energy lines running throughout
the body. Out of the 72,000 energy lines said to be in existence,the focus is on the 10 major lines,call "sen" important
acupressure points are found on these lines. Treatment for the whole body,different organs and diseases are often done
by using the system of the 10 "sen."

Much of what is known in Thailand about traditional massage was handed down orally
from gereration to generation. Much of the ancient medical tests were destroyed in 1776,with the destruction of
Ayutthaya by the Burmese. What, was left was literally carved in stone in 1832 when King Rama III,hoping
to preserve the tradition,had the stone inscriptions set into the walls of Wat Po. If not for these inscriptions,the
art of Thai massage would have been lost forever.

Chusri Srichuwong gratuated from ChiangMai University,and study Master Degree in Education
Management,MahamakutRajshavitThayalai,Lanna Campus,Wat ChediLuang,ChaingMai. She had studied Thai Traditional Massage,Herbal
Massage and Foot Massage from Faculty of Pharmacy,ChiangMai University. She has the experience from generation to generation
before those courses from her grand mother and mother. After that she had studied Herbs ,Pharmacy and Thai Traditional
Medicine from Deparment of Health,Ministry of Health for 4 years.
คุณชูศรี ได้เรียนจบภาควิชาภาษาฝรั่งเศส
และประกอบอาชีพด้านการท่องเที่ยวกับบริษัท
World Travel Services เชียงใหม่ เธอสนใจในด้านธรรมชาติบำบัด
ได้ไปเรียนการนวดลูกประคบก่อนหน้าที่คุณแม่จะล้มเป็นอัมพฤกษ์
และสมัยนั้น การนวดด้วยลูกประคบยังไม่เป็นที่ยอมรับในโรงพยาบาล
เธอจึงต้องแอบทำนวดบำบัดให้คุณแม่ในโรงพยาบาล
หลังจากที่คุณแม่เสียชีวิต
เธอจึงมีเวลาไปศึกษา
แพทย์แผนโบราณ เพื่อมาใช้ช่วยตนเอง
และคนรอบข้าง เธอได้มีโฮกาสถ่ายทอดการนวด
และการทำลูกปะคบ การตอกเส้น
และย่ำขางด้วยการเป็นล่าม
โดยส่วนตัวคุณชูศรี
เคยเป็นกระดูกทับเส้นประสาท
และหายมาได้ เนื่องจากได้ให้โยเร
ตนเองตลอดทั้งคืน
She has more experience for Alterative Treatment 'Nataral Holistics; Meditation for
Self-Healing,Tai Chi ,Joerei,Reiki,Chakra,Pyramid Therapy and Alternative Massage. About Lanna Wisdom or (Northern
) Wisdom,she support this project for preservation of Lanna Culture and Tradition....
